The 2015 Great Art Jumble promises to be extraordinary. Raising money for KKP, the Cube’s mobile cinema in Haiti and now Nepal, the event will be held at Cafe Kino on Stokes Croft, Bristol, on Saturday 12 December, from 12-6pm.

** SPECIAL GUESTS ** My Two Tom’s will be playing acoustic at 3PM.

KKP offers illumination, entertainment, solidarity and cinema for displaced children after the earthquakes of Haiti and Nepal. KKP travels and projects films on buildings and screens in camps and schools, while making films with young people for them to later see on the big screen. A humanitarian, goodwill cinema exchange. Three Cube volunteers are currently working in Nepal.

This year’s curated set of art works, pictures, photos, music, films and thrift will all be in a price range you can pick from – a perfect winter’s gift.

Aaron Sewards – Jerwood nominated artist from Bristol now working in Japan. Current new works comprise of watercolour Edgeland landscapes, delivered through coffee on paper.

DJ Food – special edition KLF banknotes in the mix.  DJF are an electronic music project headed by Strictly Kev. Originally conceived by the members of Coldcut on the Ninja Tune label.

Paul Cooke – Cube collaborator and printmaker, utilising the natural world with greater cosmic themes in print.

My Two Toms – Instrumental duo, playing banjos and guitars and other odd stringed instruments will be offering up merch for the jumble and delighting us with their wistful melodies . http://mytwotoms.bandcamp.com

Dudley Sutton – one of our greatest actors and Cube Friends. Duds is also a superb fine artists working on lino cuts. We are very lucky.

Suzanne Pickering – shaman and anthroposophical Wooten Under Edge artist, Suzanne explores internal narratives lodged in ancient archetypes.

Esther May Campbell – self taught photographer and BAFTA winning film maker, Campbell brings both films and photographs to the exhibition.

Joe Magee – Artist, Illustrator and Filmmaker, Joe is an extraordinary visual artist, playful and political.

Frannie Williams – East Anglican artist who works with water colour, painting the natural environment with an eye for the vibrant and beautiful.

Joff Winterhart – Joff is an illustrator, film-maker and plays drums in his band, Bucky. He lives in Bristol, where he walks his greyhound, Peep-Peep. He is wonderful and penned Days of the Bagnold Summer, which was shortlisted for the 2012 Costa Award for Best Novel.

Kayle Brandon – Kayle Brandon is an inter-disciplinary artist, who works within public and social contexts. She’s a core cubey, and offers us a piece from Cube Cola.

Bristol Art Library – the wonderful art library and its collection of artists books conceived by A. N. Other.

QuJunktions – Bristol’s best curators of musical live events… offering up CDs, posters and other jumbleee worthy materials.

J Patrick Boyle – an artist based in Bristol whose practice is a hybrid of appropriated imagery, collected memorabilia, song lyrics and other cultural debris.

Aurelia Lange – delicate, painterly and sublime.  Illustrator Aurelia works predominantly in pencil and ink, and sometimes developing drawings into screenprints. Come see.

Beautiful Things in Foreign Lands – NKKP traveller and Cube volunteer Scruff brings tiny technicolour tales of adventure & curiosity.

Yoshino Shigihara – wow. Our one and only. Yoshino is a Bristol based Illustrator/ Designer/ Video maker born in Japan, offering one wonderful work.

Sadie Campbell – Of the Staple Sisters, Sadie will be offering up hand made, designer cushions. Totally beautiful.

Andrew Mania –  We are lucky! Born, bred and working in Bristol Andrew’s work has been included in exhibitions at Turner Contemporary, Margate (2011), Evening’s Tears, Morning’s Dew, Ancient and Modern, London (2011) and Just Photography, Martos Gallery, New York. He was awarded the Rome Scholarship in 2004.

Recent projects: The Court Portraits, Spacex, Exeter (2010), The Whitechapel Gallery Staff Portrait Studio (2011), The Portrait Service, Bblackboxx Basel (2011), Volunteers, Festival of Britain Southbank Centre (2011) and Suppose An Eyes: International touring group show and events in Berlin, London, and Newcastle (2013).

Abigail Reed – Bristol painter of animals. Magnificent. Animals poised in their ultimate state, stand like statues demanding your attention. An animal can appear small or fragile but on closer inspection hold immense power and resistance.

Lucie Harris – Newcastle based painter, of wonderful vibrant colours. Landscapes and portraits.

Hugh Metcalfe – a poem from Britains best outside artist of The Klinker infamy. Drummer, guitarist, poet, and film maker. This is a one off and a true treat.
